Sensory & Autism Friendly Hours
Join us for Sensory & Autism Friendly Hours at the Carousel at Pottstown on Saturday, April 4 (10:00 AM–12:00 PM) — a calmer, more supportive carousel experience for children and adults with sensory sensitivities and autism.
What to expect:
BUILDING AND CAROUSEL ARE ADA ACCESSIBLE
Lights off, Music off, Pinball machines off
Quiet Room with bean bag seating + caregiver chairs
Coloring, crayons & fidgets
Schedule:
10:00–10:15 Explore the carousel (we’ll review how the ride works + the stop button)
10:15–11:00 Carousel rides with trained staff monitoring
11:00–11:15 Explore again
Parents/guardians attend at no charge.Snacks are welcome—bring whatever helps your child feel comfortable. If a ticket is purchased and your child doesn’t ride, we can offer a Forever Ticket or a refund.
Noise-canceling headphones welcome; disposable ear plugs will be available. We’ll also have a quick registration table for future inclusive events.

Easter Bunny & Friends at the Carousel
Come meet the Easter Bunny (and friends!) at the Carousel at Pottstown for a super cute afternoon of spring fun!
FREE photo with the Easter Bunny — and every kid will get an Easter egg with a surprise!
Animal Experience (optional): $8 per person
Meet a Highland cow named Kelce, Two baby goats, and 6–8 big fluffy bunnies from Fluffy en Route.
Refreshments will be available for purchase.
Santa at the Carousel
Join us on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 12 to 2 p.m. for Santa at the Carousel at The Carousel at Pottstown. Bring the family and enjoy a magical afternoon filled with holiday cheer as you meet Santa, take photos, and share your wish list. While you are here, take a ride on the beautifully restored carousel and make lasting memories with your loved ones. It is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season in Pottstown.
Books & Barks
Join us for Books & Barks on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at The Carousel at Pottstown. Browse a wide selection of gently used books, enjoy a fun dog kissing booth, and help support two great causes. Proceeds from the book sale will help fund future community events at the Carousel, and a portion will also benefit To Love a Canine Rescue. It is the perfect day to stock up on books, spend time with friends and furry companions, and support our local community.
120th Birthday Celebration Beef & Beer party
The Carousel is celebrating its 120th Birthday this year! We’re having a PARTY on and we would love for YOU to come too! It’s a BEEF & BEER (with an option for pulled pork!) There will be horse derby races music and more. Tickets are $30 and you can stop by Saturdays 12-4 to purchase. If Saturdays aren’t convenient - you can call, email or send a message through Facebook or our website. It’s going to be a BLAST! WE CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU THERE!

Carousel Community Day
Celebrate National Carousel Day with $1 rides, a free moon bounce, family-friendly games, and tasty treats. Sponsored by Representative Joe Ciresi and Mayor Stephanie Henrick. Bring your friends, grab a $1 hot dog or soft pretzel, and enjoy an afternoon of low-cost fun for all ages.
